Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public
Relations, or a related field. Candidate should have seven to ten
years experience in major gift fundraising and have a demonstrated
track record in designing and leading fundraising campaign efforts.
CFRE preferred. |

A proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and knowledge
of “best” practices in campaign management is also needed. |

Experience in implementing capital campaigns. |

Capacity to assume leadership roles, work independently, and to
take initiative in start-up enterprises. |

Understanding of the Major Gift Solicitation process and an ability
to lead affective cultivation and solicitation of prospects. |

Ability to embrace and affirm the mission of the Union Gospel Mission
of Tarrant County. |

Excellent writing and communication skills. |

Expertise in developing long-range fundraising and communication
strategies. |

Managerial skills to ensure the effective and efficient use of
